The article revolves to the transition of the youth and the reliance of help from the family, of which most of the earlier researches were not involved in the transition of the lives of the youth. It have gathered the data from the previous studies of the youth policy in the 20th century and the recent research in the 21st century in examining of the trends of the sociological field of the youth and their policy, in relation to their family dependency.

This is where the concept of interaction and the family members is borne, which enhances the future lives of individuals (Wyn, 2011).

The contemporary youth policy is dependent on the family, as it helps the youth in pursuing their life objectives successfully. Those family structures that are economically poor have been depicted to have the young ones unable to pursue the tertiary education, and are the most vulnerable people working fulltime, unlike those from the wealthier class who are able to work part-time, while they pursue their education.
